Agrisapien Traders was founded by Paulo Peres after spending more than 30 years on Wall Street in risk management.
He was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where coffee is part of everyday life. It’s something you grow up with—less of a habit and more of a constant, tied to family, routine, and place. In coffee, origin matters. And for Paulo, that connection has always been personal.
Agrisapien was built from that perspective, with an early focus on green coffee from Brazil. Today, the company operates under a blind trust, with day-to-day management led by Ines Sartori, while staying grounded in the principles it was founded on. Ines has deep roots in the coffee industry beginning as a child on her family farm. She's now a senior coffee buyer and relationship manager for local farmers and exporters.
