Ordering FAQs

We offer two bag sizes:

  • Full 59kg bag (packed at origin and palletized at our warehouse)
  • 5kg cardboard boxes (with the beans internally protected by zipped locked and valved bags)

Pricing for both size options is available on each coffee’s product page.

Standard pallets of a single type of bean consist of 10 59kg bags.  However, you can order 12 bags of any kind per pallet.

We want to make ordering great green coffee a simple and efficient process via our online shopping cart. To place an order for the first time, create an account by clicking the “Register” button. You will be asked to provide information about your business. Once you are approved you can begin shopping by adding items to your cart and proceeding to check out.

It is important to let you know that Agrisapien uses CONTINENTAL TERMINALS, (Carteret, NJ facility) as its main warehouse. Should you also be a customer of Continental's a simple move of the purchased coffee from our holdings to yours is also an option.

Payment: We accept credit cards through our secure shopping cart. Orders greater than twenty-five 59kg bags may require a bank transfer.

If you need to make a change to your order, please email us at orders@agrisapien.com within 2 hours of placing your order.

We prep our freight orders in an automated fashion. Because of this, there is a fee for changing the coffee you have ordered once we have prepped your pallet as per the below:

If any order is cancelled after it has been submitted to the warehouse, they will be subject to $25.00 cancelation fee, on top of a pick out charge (when applicable) & restocking charge.

There will be a $25.00 Fee for any orders that are revised in any way where the bag amounts are changed on any orders that are prepared and paperwork is already outside in the warehouse.

There will be a $100.00 to the vendor for any FTL or Dedicated Truck that is on schedule and doesn’t show, reschedules or gets rejected. After the 1st time there will be a $20.00 charge for each additional day that the load is rescheduled.

We offer price per kg discounts based on bag size. We offer two bag sizes:

  • Full 59kg bag (packed at origin and palletized at our warehouse)
  • 5kg cardboard boxes (with the beans internally protected by zipped locked and valved bags)
  • Volume discounts automatically kick in on full bag orders as follows:
    • Orders greater than 5,000 USD in value: 5%
    • Orders greater than 10,000 USD in value 10%

Registered customers can request a sample in 2 ways:

1) On the sample page, you can select a 250gr zipped locked and valved bag which will be shipped via UPS/FEDEX. A Maximum of 3 types of coffees can have samples ordered at any one time and you can pay a flat fee of 10.00 USD per bag at the check-out as any other order.

2) You can arrange for your coffee specialist to come to our warehouse (CONTINENTAL TERMINALS at Carteret NJ) and retrieve a sample under warehouse supervision. This option is free of charge to you. Just contact us at info@agrisapien.com

Samples are intended for buyers to evaluate our coffees before buying 5kg boxes or 59kg bags and are not intended to be a small batch solution.

We reserve the right to decline requests for samples, and the maximum number of samples per order is six (6) total, no more than two (2) per coffee type. If you have sampled coffees and need assistance in selecting a coffee to purchase, please contact us or purchase directly from our online store.

Shipping FAQs

UPS/FEDEX orders, exclusively 5kg boxes or 250gr sample bags, are dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with a processing and shipping turnaround of up to 2 business days for 5kg box orders, depending on the time you place your order.

Please note that UPS/FEDEX cannot deliver to PO BOXES; kindly provide a complete physical street address for the delivery.

You also have the option to use your UPS/FEDEX account for shipping. Choose "Client Own Shipping Method".  Registered account holders will be asked for their shipping details and your information will be kept on file. 

Domestic customers benefit from our discounted UPS/FEDEX rates, visible upon entering the address at checkout.

While we welcome international customers, shipping is limited to specific countries listed in our shopping cart. If your country is not listed, we do not offer shipping services there. 

Shipments to certain countries, such as Japan, Australia, and South Korea, require additional permits and inspections. Please contact us before placing your order with your import permit number and any necessary documents before shipment.

Please be aware that the shipping fee does not cover any VAT or sales taxes imposed by the destination country.

You have the option to coordinate the shipment through our carriers, or you can choose to handle it independently during the checkout process. For customers in Mexico or outside of North America, we are pleased to collaborate with your chosen freight forwarder; however, we do not arrange international freight.

Please note that we cannot deliver to PO BOXES; kindly provide a complete physical street address for the delivery.

The minimum quantity eligible for freight shipping is 1 (one) full 59kg bag. Our system is setup to place 10 bags per pallet but it could accommodate up to 12. If you wish to order 12 bags per pallet just order a pallet of 10 + 2 additional bags. This will allow all 12 bags to be placed on the same pallet. You are free to mix various coffee varieties on a single pallet.

Our standard procedure includes a "lift gate delivery." If a lift gate delivery is unnecessary or if you require a scheduled delivery, kindly notify us via email once your order is finalized.

Pallets are prepared with a cardboard sheet beneath to shield coffee bags from punctures. They are securely strapped with heavy-duty polypropylene strapping and wrapped with plastic film to safeguard the shipment.

Shipments are booked through reputable carriers that we have thoroughly vetted, ensuring familiarity with our warehouse procedures for prompt deliveries and the most competitive rates.

If you opt to manage your own freight shipping, we will email you the pickup date, time, and dimensions. All we require from your carrier is the BOL (Bill of Lading). Please note that we will reserve coffee for up to 5 business days while you organize shipping. Orders not shipped within this timeframe may incur a storage fee of up to $30 per day/pallet and may be canceled after 10 days.

Allow a few days for us to carefully assemble your international freight order. Once picked up, we will email your PRO number for shipment tracking. 

Upon receiving your pallet, inspect the bags and pallets for any damage while the driver is present. Although we experience minimal damage to pallets, it's crucial to note any damage before signing to facilitate a successful damage claim.

Kindly be aware that our shipping services are available only to a select number of countries. If your country does not appear in our shopping cart, regrettably, we do not offer shipping to that location. We dispatch orders weighing under 59kg using UPS. For customers outside the US or Canada, we are willing to coordinate with your chosen freight forwarder. It is imperative for you to be acquainted with your local import regulations or collaborate with a knowledgeable broker. We can reserve your order for a maximum of two weeks to allow for shipping arrangements, after which you will incur storage costs.
