Agrisapien Traders was founded by Paulo Peres in 2023 after spending more than 30 years on Wall Street in risk management.
He was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where coffee is part of everyday life. It’s something you grow up with—less of a habit and more of a constant, tied to family, routine, and place. In coffee, origin matters. And for Paulo, that connection has always been personal.
Agrisapien is now led by Inês Sartori, who grew up in a coffee-growing family and shares the same passion for the culture and the basic belief that clients come first, and a deep commitment to fairness and ever-closer relationships with producers and cooperatives.
Agrisapien currently carries exceptional coffees from Brazil, Kenya, Honduras, and Colombia, and we continue to add to our list of origins with every trip we make to meet the people behind this incredible commodity.
